10th September

"
The occasional rustling and thrashing sounds rang out, breaking the silence in the dark. Rachel clutched her daughter tight as they hid from her drunk and abusive husband. 'Ccccmmmooonn ouuuttttt noww yer lil bitch!'

Hiding away in the kitchen cupboard like professional contortionists, the mother and child kept their silence, their increasing fast and loud heartbeat seemed to scream out terror and protested against the silence. With a thunderous crash of furniture and a loud grunt, all time seem to pause as the rage of abuse ended in all abruptness.

With a still racing heart and trembling frame, the mother emerged from their hiding place. Had their terror ended? Her husband had stumbled over furniture in a fit of rage and knocked himself out, with a massive bruised swell lining his head. Rachel's day ended in peace amidst the raging police and ambulance sirens as they left with the lifeless shell of her spouse.

With her husband in a vegetative state, Rachel starts afresh with her daughter, living her newfound life with hope. Until the accidents started coming... Reckless drivers almost ran her down, her car brakes were sabotaged and other near death 'accidents' threatened to consume her tiny wisp of life. Convinced that it might be the detached soul of her husband returning to wreck his wave of abuse, she decides to visit him in the hospital.

Upon reaching the hospital ward where the dark past of her life lay, motionless, attached to a life support machine, with more life than the man it is supporting, Rachel was forced to face again, the man she once loved. His facial features might have been slightly warped from the swelling and bruising but it was the fallen form of her husband. However, some of his facial trademark mole and birthmarks were missing. Realizing the terror and implication of this revelation, Rachel slowly stepped back with her eyes wide open in terror... This man is not my husband!!!'

Well yeah.. end of a chapter 1 book preview??? Not really... I somehow got this story in my head within 10 minutes... Sort of popped in my head when I just woked up for the second time trying to sleep. It's amazing how I got this crazy story and it's a horror to not be able to sleep properly...

Zzz damn... I'll try to sleep again now... got a good 4 hours before I supposed to wake up...
On a good note, having a good weekend this week... Not so no-life afterall, though a little miffed that my ex-girlfriend is taking so long to return something that I need... Oh well... life continues... I have to continuously improve myself.
Catch you again... goodnight! Or should I say, good afternoon... Zzz
