Hi y'all!
I picked up my favourite set of spoilt headphones, just to repair it, a repair job that has been pushed back for a couple of months.
As usual, most headphones lose their sound in either the left or right ear and usually its the cause of a broken wire either at the head or jack portion.
Picking up my trusty solder and repair kit, I did a quick repair job!
Although I had some basic electronics training, I actually failed to repair it on the first attempt, since I had no experience with audio cables.
I've yahoo-ed a website that taught me about it, turns out that audio cables had insulation that you have to burn away!
Any-hoo (hoo for yahoo!), I've repaired it and am listening to great music right now.
Anyone interested in fixing your own headphones, here's a guide, the website that I've found.
