I've 'concocted'/drew up a 7 month plan for my bodybuilding journey, set to end by July 2010.
Originally slated to end by Dec 18 2010, I have actually calculated it to end by July 2010 because of IPPT, I will have to do the actual training.
For example, currently I'm doing jump ropes instead of running. When my training regime ends, I will be doing the running and chin ups etc instead of weight training and jump ropes etc.
Most likely I will have passed IPPT because there is an ICT in April. No matter, my training is for CDO gold so press on!!!
Right now all I need is to take a before/after photo... Need to get a nice 'before' photo haha...

Uneven muscles
Hi all,
I read about this sometime before and decide to post it in case there are people who read my blog... In case... Just in case... Poor lonely blog, only with me to blog and the occasional people who read it.
Anyway, the reason why muscles are growing unevenly, some due to technique issues and to other minor reasons... The main issue is dexterity! Some of us are right handed and some are left handed... Not sure about ambidextrous people...
Basically the logic goes, (I'm right handed) my right hand has better control and so, weight lifting/work is more efficient, using less energy for the same weight, while my non-master hand works harder to lift the same weights my right hand is...
So basically left hand needs more muscle to do the same work so left hand gets more stressed and more muscles at the end of the day...

Total Knockout! Slept for 12 hours
Slept at 11.30am, woke up at 11.30pm. Ouchie, that left me 15 minutes of dinner and then straight to work.
That was most likely a combination of the after effects from [Project Hunk] and the cold rainy day...
Apparently I've increased the load of exercise yesterday and my body wasn't prepared for it... even though it got used to the previous load. So now I have to acclimatize again to get my body being able to take normal days' work and exercise.
"Is it worth it?" you may ask... I'm not entirely sure but I'm gonna continue doing it.
For [Project Hunk]!!!

Hunk food
Just a separate post, as this contains food!!! MmmMmm I ought to make myself some baked fries right now... haven't had lunch.
Anyway, I've been taking bread with salad for my pre-workout food.
Basically I'm supposed to have carbohydrates, Keongster recommended pasta 1 hr before workout... But I can't be eating spaghetti and stuff all the time so...
Really tasty stuff...

The stuff: Tomatoes Carrot Romaine Lettuce Baked potato Cucumber Ham Bread | The yummy greens! |
The sauce, kind of oriental, but I'm lovinG it (no McD*nalds infringement there): Soy sauce (Saltiness) Sugar (Sweetness) Pepper (For the kick) Sesame oil OR Olive oil | Da Potato! |
Really tasty stuff...
[Project Hunk] update...
Here's my update on [Project Hunk]...
Firstly, my routine is ever changing, to reduce the boredom of exercise...
Now:
Mon/Wed/Fri: Strength training. 15 reps x 3 sets (info from my good friend Keong who's taking some degree)
Targeted areas: Chest/Biceps/Thighs
Mon-Fri: Endurance. 50 reps x 4 sets
Targeted areas: Abdominals
Alright now comes the chatter:
The thing being that, all the while I have been doing chest push-ups, it didn't increase mass on the upper chest... so I looked weird for a while >_<
Anyway... I've been doing chest flies... no... not mating with some weird chest fly. It's a name for an exercise maneuver... It has been increasing my mass in the upper chest region so that's a good thing.
Next thing, abdominals. While it still doesn't look as refined as those fitness magazines, I've been gaining mass there... Meaning that the lines aren't still as visible but it's protruding out more...
Gotta work more to get more out... Thanks to information from my good friend Keong :)
When I'm less shy, I'll get pictures up :D

| I've recently noticed that there are two areas for the chest muscles... See picture on the right... There's the upper chest and lower chest, upper chest being somewhere above the armpit to armpit line. |

Heya
Hiya blog...
It's been some time since I've chatted with you...
Got my motorcycle already, gave her a name.
Although by Bajaj's standards, Pulsar is "Definitely Male"...
Meet Kaelyn! Gonna spray the name on the fuel tank some time later also...
A little lazy to put up piccies, haven't taken much as well.
Will put it up when the spraying/sticker is done :D
Also, for my project super hunk (whatever haha)... Alright alright just Project Hunk.
Project Hunk is slated to be complete by... 18 Dec 2011!
FYI Project Hunk is just about me trying to hunk-ify my body...
Still at work with it, very shy to take pics of my progress...
Lol, if I ever go to the beach then I can show my progress there..
Every little progress helps...
Basically:
[Project Hunk July]
Pectorals: When I was in secondary school I was mostly flat-chested so to speak. I mean for a guy, when your friends are getting more muscular and there I am, scrawny like a bean.
Thighs: I'm not fat, just getting rid of the flab, also it was an initial attempt to boost my SBJ.
Stamina + Calves: This is strictly for my IPPT actually haha... trying to get back to my old standard, 9:14 for 2.4km
I would love to put pictures... Maybe I can just find a photographer first...
Tsk tsk..
Have a good day then blog...

Work work!
Hi all...
Haven't been updating my blog, though I know not many read it.
Heck, I'm mostly the one reading my own blog...
But blogging is a way to remember myself and what the f@#$ I was thinking at that time.
I've finished a week of work at my new job.
Like I said in the previous post, I'm working the graveyard shift...
But I can still find time to do some exercise... so it's kinda fun in a way.
A little stressed out as I'm still new, with myself not being sure of how to handle certain situations...
But I feel lucky :D
On exercise, I've started working my chest again...
Haven't touched the abs for some time, but its still there...
Hope to update my personal memories again sometime...
Cya again blog!

Daily Sets of Exercise!
Hi all,
I've increased my daily set again, because the current set seems to
be getting easier by each day...
Though I'm taking a break right now because I have
to condition my body clock. I just got a job and
I will have to work from 12am to 9am, so its the graveyard shift so to speak.
Annnnnyyywayyy....
Here's my current set:
3 sets of
20 chest push ups (No change there)
50 crunches, using 3x1.5l bottles, that's a change of 50x3kg to 50x4.5kg.
And 500 max of jump rope.
It's starting to get hard to hug those damn 1.5l bottles...
Hugging one and two bottles are fine, but three? They are starting to
slip out of my hug.
Regarding my running, I'll have to get back to it soon...
My target time is 16min for a 4.3km track.
Which my latest record a few weeks back was 26min plus...
Gotta hit the running track soon...
Cya folks, hope you're getting healthy as well!

THIS IS SPARTA!
Well, I watched 300 on HBO again yesterday.
Note that I said AGAIN.
The first time watching in the theatre was a WOW!
Hot bods and stuff with the heroic killings of Persian soldiers and what not.
But what I've noticed through the second viewing was that, their hot bodies ain't all that hyped up to be. Sure those are nice chests, abs, arms and legs. But they're not Olympic bodybuilder standards, they are more like the desirable beach body.
So it makes it seem even easier to reach my goal of a hot beach body.
Cya around, maybe in 2-6 months when I get my Spartan body I'll start posting pics.
The abs are coming out nicely... but if you've been following my posts, I'm a lazy exerciser!
Good luck to all you hotties-to-be out there!

Exercise Woes!
Oh no! I've been slacking behind on my exercises again!
Well there's lazy person for you.
To cut the story short, I've modified my training regime again.
Here's it:
20 chest (diamond) pushups, followed by
50 ab crunches with a 1.5kg weight on chest.
3 sets of the above-mentioned, followed by a continuous jump rope of 200 jumps.
Works out fine, I've done it twice already, once today and once two days ago.
How are you, dear reader, working out right now?

Here's my running records at Bedok Reservoir.

I only have the timings for my actual run.

Fitness Frenzy!
Hey guys, whats up?
I have been on a fitness drive since from November 2008.
Truth be told, I'm a lazy person, very very lazy.
So how did I take up exercise?
Firstly, I want to look good.
Secondly, I believe in getting fit and healthy, no point struggling to even walk around properly when I'm old.
But the question is, for a lazy person like me, how do I get started?
The answer to my own question was, TAKE IT SLOW.
Of course you will need a level of discipline to get things done, but at the same time do it at your own pace. No point traumatizing yourself to get a good workout for one day and dread doing it again the next day!
So here's what I've been doing:
Working on my abs, chest and running.
I run at Bedok Reservoir near my home (30 minutes walk actually) and it is a 4.3km running route.
I have been taking my running time daily and it is improving!
Here's a link to my running records!
